| Our "new" villa in La Marsa |
After some thought and discussion, we decided to make a the move from our apartment in La Berges du Lac to a villa (their word for house) in the La Marsa area. Our new home is in a much quieter section and best of all is very near to the water. In fact we can hear the waves crashing on shore ... makes for the best sleeps ever! So after returning back from Canada the beginning of January, we've been very busy with this move and getting settled. I must say that it was a very smart move as we all (including Misha) are much more comfortable in our new home. Being so close to the water, to the markets and to some amazing restaurants .... now we ask "why didn't we do this sooner?"

| The Rooftop Patio |
Best of all is the amazing view from the rooftop and the patio. We will certainly be making lots of use of this space ... especially during the warm Tunisian evenings!
What a beautiful spot you have found, and what a view. Wow. The white with blue contrast is reminiscent of structures on the Greek islands, so appropriate for the climate and the seaside. It's beginning to feel a little spring-y here, a few crocuses (croci?) are up, other bulb greens pushing up. Such an optimistic time of year. Look forward to seeing more of the La Marsa views. Best, LizB.
ReplyDeleteHey Liz, Thanks for your comment :) Glad to hear spring is finally arriving for Sidney. I imagine that you will be able to see an even wider assortment of spring flowers on the Monday hikes ... I'm still planning to get back sometime in March so hopefully will be able to see some then. Say hi to everyone from me, I'm sure missing all of you.
